Vanne McMillan (CEO/Creative Director)
A Kansas City, Missouri native with the raw gift of drawing, she is the visionary behind the Vanne McMillan Fashion. Art. Style brand name. She has taken her background of fashion, art, and style and turned it into her lifetime career. Being born with the gift of drawing, she began creating amazing fashion creations as early as age 11. While in high school she began transforming her drawings into live designs and created her first clothing line: MiLKshaKe at the tender age of 16.
While attending the University of Missouri-Columbia she learned to expand her gift to include fashion merchandising and visual design. She has coordinated and contributed her designs and visual styling on dozens of runways, window displays and set designs. She honed her gifts at Ragz Designhouse, Gap, Banana Republic, Forever 21, Macy’s, Alice and Olivia and Saks Fifth Avenue.
After relocating to Atlanta, Georgia as the Art Director of Shoed-In Magazine she hit the ground running to gain more experience and expand her brand. She has worked under the famed designer of Mychael Knight of Project Runway, has done wardrobe styling for magazine editorials, music videos, commercials, television shows and movies. Working with Bambi (Basketball Wives and Love and Hip Hop Atlanta), Hannah Kang (Hustle Gang), Lashon Dixon (Bravo’s Motherfunders), Upscale Magazine, singer Rudy Currence (Dove Award winner), rapper Young Scooter, Paramount Pictures, Sony Pictures and MTV, just to name a few, she is quickly becoming a fashion force as well as a household name in the fashion industry.
Vanne McMillan: she’s a creative and stylish mind, a gifted fashion talent and a true artist that creates must-see looks, images and displays.
